Vacation and Life

Vacation is soooo much fun! On the flip side it’s a lot of work to stay on schedule with working out and dieting too. It derails most of us and can be a huge set back when trying to lose weight or on our journey to fitness. I’m no different. I’m a work in progress just like many of you who are reading this. Last week I went on a family vacation for 8 days on the beach in North Carolina. I brought my workout clothes and my running shoes. I packed my Shakeology. I had every good intention of staying on track.

But sun, fun, wine and just pure laziness got the best of me for half of my vacation. Out of 8 days of vacation I ran  for 3 of those days. I say that is a 50/50 win for me! 2 of those days were the commute days of vacation leaving 6 days to workout and I did for 3 of them. I even ventured out and ran on the beach one day giving myself a whole new workout. I’m okay with those results. I still came home with an extra pound or two but I’ll do the Shakeology Cleanse for the next three days and those will be gone!
