So the word is out with my family so I can now post about it. I’m Pregnant! Yeah for baby number 2, however, I feel like I JUST GOT MY BODY BACK from baby #1. One thing I didn’t do when I was pregnant with Xander was workout. I had horrible pelvic pain and even the simple act of walking too far had me on the couch for days. I’m hoping that this time will be different. I’m going to lay off the running and do more strength training and yoga too. Another thing I didn’t do last time was watch what I eat. I gave myself a free pass to eat what I wanted, when I wanted. Somehow I still only gained 35 lbs, with a little luck that is all I’ll gain with this one too. The overall goal is to have a Healthy, Happy, Healthy baby! Yes, I know I said healthy 2x.
Because that is what mama’s do, they sacrifice everything for their babies. It starts first with our bodies. I’m doing it different the second time around though. I started a 21 Day Fix group, got 10 people on board to join me, and we’re all on our way to a better us. They are keeping me motivated. However, while they are on their way to skinny jeans, I’m on my path to just being healthy.
This is new for me! I can’t ever say there was a time that I worked out just to be. There has always been a goal, usually a number that I’m chasing. Its always about the number. I push myself, bend myself and sometimes break myself to get to a number on the scale that I want to see. This time around I’m doing to be healthy. My end goal is to have a healthy pregnancy and when that little bambino comes into the world to show all my followers that I can bounce back after baby #2 also. Maybe a little faster with a little more grace this time.
If you are wondering about my diet. It will include Shakeology! It has the best nutrition a girl can ask for in one shake! I drink it everyday. I wake up to that shake and have no intentions of changing it. Some ask about the chemicals. I say “what chemicals??” Last pregnancy I ate a Fish-Filet from Mcdonalds everyday, pretty sure my shakeology is healthier and a much better choice. Fresh berries, some chai seeds, and some coconut oil and I’m good to go!
So follow me on my journey. I’m due May 7th so if pregnancy posts are not what you are into, that’s fine. Stick with me anyway, cause after May 7th I’ll be back in Beast mode (BodyBeast that is) and I’ll show everyone that you can have a healthy lifestyle, lose the weight, get fit and toned all while having a family too. It will be a new juggling act for me, but something worth tuning in for!
