My Shakeology story:

I have done meal replacements for many years. When I first started losing weight it was all about shakes and protein bars. It was a choice between the good, bad and ugly. If you are anything like me then you know when you find a good one, you stick with it. I haven’t ever been faithful to any certain brand or product and for the most part it was a way for me to get my requirements for protein. If you’ve read any part of my story you know that my past has been filled with yo-yo dieting and running.  When I started drinking Shakeology I lost 6 lbs. Not a ton of weight, but I saw it as a win anyway. I started drinking the shakes in November and had to get through all the holidays, without working out, and I STILL lost weight.

In December I became a coach for Beachbody. Now, for me to be considered an active coach I also had to have a certain amount of product purchased each month. The easiest way to do this is to order Shakeology. I loved it, I was losing weight and they tasted great! So I continued on my Shakeology path.

Now, I’m maintaining my weight loss and Shakeology is helping me do that. I still drink it almost everyday. My husband drinks it everyday too. It’s just a part of our lives. When I think back on all my struggles to be a certain number on the scale and running 20-30 miles a week, it seems crazy to me. I was never where I wanted to be. Now I do a beachbody workout and drink my shakes and I’ve found my “happy weight”

I can’t say that with %100 that its the Shakes that are doing it for me. What I DO know is that I struggled before without them. I struggled to keep a healthy life style. Now I’m not struggling anymore. I still have my coffee in the morning, my shake for breakfast, and I have wine at night with my dinner. I’m not giving up every pleasure in my diet and you shouldn’t either!

I even take a blender with me to work (in my rollerbag) so I can enjoy my shakes blended. Yes, you can shake them in a shaker but I like mine blended.
